We are a working 1000 acre family cattle ranch in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas, just 20 minutes from Manhattan or Wamego. We offer a variety of personally designed vacation plans in a terrific setting. Offered activities include horseback riding on reliable working horses, cattle drives, cattle working days, and special horse events. We also have facilities for those wanting to bring their own horses.
For those whose interest lies in non-horse activities we have numerous opportunities -- miles of hiking trails, wild life and wild flowers photography, catch and release pond/lake fishing on a 20 acre lake, lake side camping and just relaxing under the stars., hayrides and group events.
A once in a life time experience is the spring prairie renewal pasture burn. As the burn starts in the evening you personally take part in dragging fire and watching the hills light up as night falls and the sun sets.
